At Redefining Climate Change, we aim to bridge the gap between scientific research and public understanding. Our mission is to make climate science accessible, ensuring that everyone can engage with the critical issues surrounding changes to the political, social, biospheric, oceanic and atmospheric climates.
I am currently an MSc student, and a recent BSc graduate with a background in Forensic Biology and chemistry, continuing my studies focusing on environmental sciences, sustainable agriculture and natural resources. Covering ecological principles, earth biospheric systems, and the politics and economics of climate change.
Redefining climate change is about shifting the social perceptions of sustainability and climate adaptation. It encompasses a new idea, highlighting climate change not only as carbon dioxide emissions, but as changes in 5 key climates, political; social; biospheric; oceanic; atmospheric. This is important to bridge the gap between scientists and politicians, between climate change believers and skeptics, showing how adaptation in these key areas is not just to save the planet, but to unify humanity, and guarantee a prosperous future. Redefining climate change is a boundary object between these 5 spheres, showing how interconnected they are, and making adaptation accessible.
